that's just amazing and a poke in the eye to all those vocal critics!! What a voice
Wonder if he'll cover and release it, just for me

The soundcheck sounds awesome! maybe one for a one off digital release?! Think he sounds a bit rough on "Be There" though.

i like this bit a guy has posted on facebook

Jozsef Kolumban
There was one particularly epic moment during the concert when someone threw onstage a st george's flag, expecting Ian to wave it about, whilst The Man simply stomped on, spat on it and threw it back, suggesting the fact that MANCHESTER > England
Ian is such a legend, keeping it real with both the attitude and the music, top class!

Just seen the videos on fb and Ian did Set my baby free!! I am so excited as it is one of my top IB tracks and he very rarely sings it. I've actually been listening to it every day recently. Anyway hope he keeps it in the set list for the next tour!! He is sounding and looking excellent too

Gawd.. I'm hardly a spring chicken and it's not as if I haven't seen Ian dozens of times, but man... I wish I was at that gig. Everyone looked bang on. Well done the lads.

Looked and sounded on fine form. Like the random car parked in front of the stage at the soundcheck.

Bring on the UK gigs

I'd do the same to the England flag but not sure how they have reasoned that Ian was saying Manchester > England from that ?
