Anyone else bored of solo artists?

Ian Brown is obviously of great interest, but WTF is he doing? Ok so the album undersold and deserves more praise than it got, but he didnít exactly promote it. Zero gigs, understandable considering he was selling out stadiums with his band. Doing solo gigs would be like wasting his time! I put on those John squire instrumentals last night. They must be around 15 years old now, still sounding fresh as phuck! Get the boys back and screw the nut ian.... solo artists are so 1998. OK, Gerry cinnamon is refreshing, but the rest are just annoying! (Liam & Noel are the wors!)

I’m not an Oasis fan or the brothers but I love Liam’s solo stuff, so much so that I’m off to see him in Cardiff.

The stuff with Ian, mysterious isn’t it, like the Roses early days. Just show how spoilt we’ve been over the years and how easy access we had. I’m desperate for some solo dates but as long as he does a New York solo show I’ll be in heaven

He is a man that the Stone Roses would have admired and been greatly influenced by, especially with respect to his attitude. He stuck his finger up at the music industry and all the labels trying to get him to sign, sold the music without a label and sold out venues All over the Uk, and parts of Europe with fans following him there from the Uk. He has some brilliant lyrics too
