So what next?

Is there any talk of them going to Japan to do those gigs that were cancelled? There's a statement on the website which is a bit vague but seems to indicate it may happen.

Can we expect more new stuff or gigs in 2016?

The mystery continues

Looked like they were saying goodbye to this part of the world to me on Saturday when they finished. Would think they'll do Japan though, then that will be it for the foreseeable, IB back on the road. Hopefully....

Yeah, I wondered but I just assumed they would have said something...more official. At TITP Ian finished by saying see you again or words to that effect...

I wonder if they'll leave it open and maybe do a few more gigs in a few years?

Would be good to see Ian back doing his own thing again...hopefully without the Roses tunes he was doing in later gigs.

By the time of the MY Way tour, he'd mostly ditched Roses tunes, think he was just doing Fools Gold and at Platt Fields he resurrected IWBA. I could live with that

If IB is getting back aboard the solo bus then personally I would love it if he hooking up with UNKLE or even better RZA for some new music.

Something in the style of Basic Intructions Before Leaving Earth or Nature of the Threat by Rass Kass.

I know not everyone's cup of PG Tipps but it's right up my street and the fecked up state of the world now needs some righteous teachers.

I'd love to see him do something with Paul Heaton.

Heaton a great lyricist and hates the fucking Tories. That'll do for me.

That would definitely be interesting! Ian likes his female vocalists too so get jacqui on board.

I don't think I'd want Ian band to do fools gold again after hearing the real thing. Ian doesn't need it in his set imo but it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with... Assuming it's going down that line.

I just hope we aren't in for years of silence.

Browny solo now would be ace, the RZA / UNKLE collaboration shouts would be just the ticket.

The solo gigs with Lavelle & co were unreal.

One last roses album would be the ultimate. Finish on a high. Slay the doubters and haters who say it's only for the money. Then back to business with Ian. An album produced by lavelle or shadow.

I think it's all been about the money but whether or not it was, only the band knows. Still been great to see them doing their thing.

So what if it was, they were done up the backside by every fucker first time round, it's their art, they should make as much as they want out of it. Plenty of hangers on did.
