Last time IB played the MEN he came on and danced to Adored and I think he stayed on for FEAR aswell. Christ knows what he's up to at the moment though, I wouldn't rule out him appearing on stage at Heaton Park.

There's gonna be at least 35,000 blokes in their mid to late 40's dancing in front of the stage.

I kinda hope Cressa comes on stage for Resurrection or something but I think him being on stage is a) not needed for John's pedals any more and b) a little bit too - struggling to find the right word without sounding disrespectful. Unbecoming? I dunno. What I mean is, him being rolled out to complete the full set isn't the kind of look I think they might be aiming for aiming for? I'd like to think they're not going down the nostalgia route by having a bunch of Ma(d)nchester bands supporting. Same as I hope we don't have Gary Clail's On-U Sound System or Alfonso Buller shouting Manchester Vibes In The Area. Again, trying not to sound disrespectful. I had a kerrrrazy night out with Cressa in Morecambe many years ago and he's a lovely bloke. Alfonso is a gentleman, larger than life and incredibly friendly. But I'm sure most will agree with me this isn't what the Roses are aiming for - a walk down memory lane or trying to be the Roses of 1989. Leave all that to the tribute bands.Yeah sure it's going to be nostalgic and there'll be a lot of happy faces, but I doubt they're going to be trying to recreate days gone by - and rolling Cressa out to air-surf behind John's amps for more than the encores isn't their style.
I don't think there'll be any dancing girl either.

All in my own humble opinion you understand.

totally agree, would be too nostalgic. be nice to see him again but maybe just at the side of the stage or during one song. whatever makes him and the boys happy i guess

Totally agree Mick, yeah acknowledge the past but not a full on 1989 style nostalgia fest.

And please god no dancing girls. Can you imagine the hail of pint pots that would welcome her.

thanks.
I saw these clips before and I still watching sometimes
it's bit old time memory.
in 1989, I and my friends had no idea who and what he was so we just called him Octopus ( by Japanese) because nobody mentioned about him
(again. In Japan 1980's. no internet, minimum media.)

I've got the Badmanwagon single and LP and it's not that bad, I was expecting a lot worse.

Cressa's a top bloke, I think the last time he was in the spotlight was when he was sporting coats for Oi Polloi onn their website, after that I think the last thing I saw was him and mani on stage doing his thing with Ian in Spain.

Had a right laugh with him in 90 during the Scandinavia tour - great times!
